Do we have any takers on loaning me a grille? I struck out on ebay fining one and the 3 used car parts places I am familiar with all wanted over $200 for the used grille. That is insane. I would loose huge on this project. Is there any of you in socal? That way we don't have to deal with shipping. If your willing I could probably bring a printer with me and prototype it right there on your vehicle. Don't even need to remove the grille. Would probably take me 6-8 hours to get it dialed in.

I'm looking for a replacement grill for my 100LC that is like the 80 series with "TOYOTA" spelled out.

I wish Toyota would go back to this on at least the LC's. I see they are doing it on the TRD Pro series trucks.

I made one for the 80 series 95-97 grille. It was quite the challenge to make it look factory. If there is enough interest to make one for a 100 series grille then I would be interested to make one. I would need at least 10 folks buying one to break even. I would also need the factory grille to work off of.

so I have found a grille from an 03 that is about a 2.5 hour drive for me. 5 hours round trip. That will probably be a full tank of gas for me. I may take that option if I can't find one closer. Is there anyone out there in socal in the IE area with a 03-07 100 series? I don't even need to take the grille off. I can just take measurements, test fit, and prototype with your grille installed. I will bring one of my printers along with me. Probably need 6-8 hours of time but possibly less. Depends on how far my current prototype is from a perfect fit.

just an FYI, your generic badge fits the grille of the GX470 pretty well. pic of it on my borthers GX470.

I forgot about this thread. I'm glad you found another application mor my universal badge. I know some of you asked about the 03-07 TEQ grille badge and the LX470 grille badge. I had to put this badges on hold. I have been having a really hard time keeping up with my current products and releasing more products would probably kill me. I keep thinking business will slow down and I will get to release my other products but that just hasn't happened. I WILL eventually release all of the TEQ badges for the 100 series. Hopefully that will happen this summer.

It's been a while since I update this thread and it's time. I never released the 03+ 100 series grille badge and the LX470 badge. I decided not to release any new plastic TEQ badge. I decided about 6 months ago I was going to start moving towards machined aluminum for all TEQ badges and not plastic. It has taken a while to find the right machine shop, the right prices, and the right updated designs. I am now releasing my first wave of aluminum TEQ badges. I will be releasing 3-4 new badges each month and slowly removing their plastic counterparts from my website. The plastic universal badges are already gone. All grill badges including the LX470 and later YOta 100 series grill badge WILL be released but in metal. It will take me 5-6 months to get all of my TEQ badge designs converted to metal. Here is what I have now. I am releasing the round and oval TEQ universal badges in an aluminum version. The price went up due to the fact that machining in aluminum is a LOT more expensive then printing in plastic BUT I really like how they turned out. Here is the link:

I also just released the retro "4 Wheel Drive" badge:
Aluminum Retro “4 Wheel Drive Badge” | BH3D Printing

Here are some pics of them all.

So because the 03+ and LX badges didn't get released previously are they getting made first? You know, to be fair and everything? I could also talk about it making better business sense because its a new market with more potential customers but I'll leave it for now. ;)

Gasp! You may have some of my moola very soon. Nicely done.

The 03+ TEQ grill badge didn't get put on the October list since I already submitted that. I will be adding 3 more TEQ badges to my line in October BUT I WILL put in on the November order with two other new designs. I will probably have them in my hands in late November and ready to sell by the end of November or early December. Perfect timing for Christmas.

Put my 2007 down for a pair

So I'm sitting at my computer now making the needed changes to the 03+ 100 series TEQ grill badge so it can be more CNC friendly. I built it to be 3D printer friendly which are very different things. I have come across a problem. I need to make quite a few changes to make this easily made by a CNC machine but in order to do that I need a grill to work off of. I will be changing how the backside curvature flows and how it mounts. I badly need a grill to work off of for a few days. Whoever loans me their grill will get a free aluminum TEQ grill badge in return. I will cover the cost to ship the grill and emblem back.

These are awesome. I can't wait to get some for my '99LX.
I should have the 98-02 grill badge up on my site within the next two weeks.

Any takers on a loaner grill and free TEQ badge? I want to put in the order for the 03+ grill badges asap but need a grill for a couple days to ensure everything fits perfectly before I order.

Craaap!!! I just figured out why I had sooooo many fitment issues when trying to design the grill badge for the later 100 series grills. There are TWO options!! I did not know that until about 2 minutes ago. I had a guy on this forum helping me with an 03 grill (I was shipping prototypes to him) and a local guy with an 06 grill. I could not figure out why the badge would fit perfect on one and fit horribly on another. Apparently there is a 03-05 grill and a 06-07 grill which use totally different factory sombrero badges. I now need access to both grills. The local guy with the 06 sold it a few months back so that option is gone. I'm glad I figured out my issue but frustrated that I spent so much time on trying to figure out these fitment issues.

Still looking for a loaner grill. Free TEQ badge goes to the person willing to help. I will cover the cost to ship it all back.
