Hello All,

Can anyone confirm for me that when you Tech Stream into your ABS/VSC/TRAC module that you should see the Steering Angle Sensor value change when you’re watching the data list on your computer and turning the wheel? My value shows 1150 and does’t change with wheel movement, I would imagine it should.

The reason I’m trouble shooting this is my ABS/VSC /TRAC lights go on and off during driving. I have two codes, C0205 (front speed sensor LH circuit and C1223 (abs control system malfunction. I know it could be my speed sensor which I replace about 6 months ago with an Amazon cheapo replacement.

If someone can confirm this Steering angle sensor question I would appreciate it.

Thank you,

Does anyone have techstream here who can plug in to their truck and confirm this steering angle value does change for me with wheel movement, would be much appreciated before I go and spend the $$ to replace the sensor

I’m more than happy to take a look, but I’m currently on the road with our 99 LX (no VSC), so you’d have to wait until I get home.

I do remember seeing a lot of “1150s” displayed, when I needed to do a ZPC on the steering angle sensor, after a rack replacement.

Bumping this thread from 2 years ago, OP what did you get figured out on the issue? I’m having the exact same issue on my gx470 after a new steering rack install. I’ve had the car realigned and asked them to do a zero point calibration as well as the steering calibration. Zero point is coming back fine they said but when they do the steering I’m getting the 1150* just as you were…. Any help is appreciated

I know this is an old thread. But after I did my ZPC I was getting a value of 1150 *before* test driving.

After the test drive the value came down to -4.
