I just stop by local stealership on the way home from work.Pick up Toyota Red and cost almost $20buks a gallon and others as well... :frown:
Chemical 002.webp
Chemical 005.webp

I see $15.26 a gallon. A very fair price, I might add.

$17.95 is not "almost 20 bucks a gallon". In addition, it is less than the current published list price.

and no tax, you shirker...?

how are we supposed to keep the generous welfare state and public education going in the PRK, eh?

:D

The only antifreeze my local dealer had was the premixed 1/2-1/2 and they wanted 18.50 for it. I flushed and went green because of this.

The real question is why you drove 15 miles out to Longo to save $3 on coolant when Symes is in Pasadena. :flipoff2:

Extreme, yes i agree a little pricey. It really burnt me up at my dealership when i went to get some toy red and it was sitting on the shelf with a price of $13, when i checked out it was $21. I said, no it's listed as $13 on the shelf and she told me then i must have been a mistake. I said what other products are misspriced? So i told her to keep it and i left. I hate my local dealership. THey are theives.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with your dealership. I love the dealership that I go to. I just paid $12.74 for Toyota Red and $43.66 for front brake pads. Not sure about the pad price, but I guess I am getting a good deal on the coolant compaired to what others are paying. They also pulled the code on my 97' for free, unfortunatly I am now a member of the dreaded P0401 club @ 160,000 miles.

Aseif- do you have friends at the dealer? How do you get those prices? And who's the dealer?

Here in New York and I think most states if it is advertised on the shelf they have to sell it to you for that price, even if it is mismarked. I am waiting to see a new 100 missing a couple of zeros.

The parts guys are my friends of coarse:D . No, I have been going there for at least six years, bought my Tacmoa there, and many many parts from them over the years. They honor the TLCA, but they are not so friendly to people I send there sometimes:confused:. I didn't know that I was getting that good of a deal until others have posted prices of various items. They offer %25 discount, but it is really a %32 off of the retail or %25 off of list.
