Has anyone got any information on how to bypass or defeat all the electronic safety BS on the 250? I have gone into the vehicle settings and turned everything off that I can find. It still won’t let me back up a trailer that doesn’t have a functioning 7 pin plug, or even move 1” with the door ajar. I own a company that builds custom Airstream trailers, and regularly shuffle trailers around my shop that are bare shells with no wiring whatsoever. The damn 250 locks up the brake fully and engages the E-brake every 2’ in this situation. I tried using a 7 pin tester in the tow socket to trick the LC into thinking there was a trailer plugged in, but it didn’t help. The tester would have small amounts of resistance on each of the 7 functions. I also reached out to the dealership, but of course they were no help.

push the button to the left of the steering wheel

I already had that off from day one. It was the rear cross traffic sensor. I think I finally have ALL the crap turned off now. It seems like some of it may re-spawn every key cycle, but I’ll find that out next time I hook up the trailer without 7 pin.
