Elbert,

Mark's is slow to reply, but I wanted to check out the part. If it doesn't work out I'll pay shipping to return it. What I hoped to accomplish was using my Toyota radiator shroud since they chevy fan is larger. I think if everything mounts up right i will have ample cooling. I figure I can at least check it out and let others know how it works.

unlikely you will be able to position the 5.7 to align the fan with the stock fan shroud, its worth a try if that works. I don't recall seeing any of the swaps running that adapter from Marks you mentioned. I still think you might run into trouble with the accessory belt drive. I personally would want to know details on that thing before I paid for shipping from AUS.

Any one on the drive lines or tac size

have you decided what transmission you are going to use? As noted I think drive shafts lengths are best determined as one of the last steps when you have everything in place.

thanks alot xxfullsailxx i was thinking just going with a new tac one because the cost of the adapter is about the same as a new tac and i think a new auto meter would look cool. and that rocks that your just down the road how far along are with your build.

the swap has been "done" for a couple of years now... by "done" i mean done enough to be a daily driver over the last couple years as well as making the move from Colorado to Oregon towing a 3000 lb. trailer...

also by "done" i mean: still working out many kinks such as burning up spark plug wires, fuel pressure & gas mileage issues, cleaning up wiring, dialing in electric cooling fans, etc...

it's a big project, not something to be taken lightly... but i wouldn't go back to the 3FE/A440F, that's for sure...

Hi guys, i know i'm going to get yelled at about this but what exhaust manifold do i need for my fj62 tbi 350 swap, i have read that i need the ram horn i think for the driver side or do I use the ram horn for both sides. the ones that are on there now hit my AA motor mounts so i need different ones. thanks for all the help guys.

I have a 93 tbi in my 60, I ran the stock manifolds. I can't remember if I had to do anything to the AA mount or not. If anything it was very very minor grinding to get it to fit.

get the rams horn style manifolds. If you run auto trans....likley you can run stock manifolds. With manual trans I did not see how stock manifolds would work on my swap...but I did not cross under the oil pan either.

What is the status of the fan adapter you spoke about from Marks? Post up pics of it.....I want to see what it looks like if you ever got one.

hay fullsail what walker y pipe did you get do you have the part number or a link and i only found ram horns on summit for a 327 corvette i think that will work right? and thanks so much for all your help you are just down the road i need to buy you a beer or two.

dude- i provided you a link with all the info in it. or just search "ramshorn" manifold, either on mud or google and you will get all sorts of information, including part numbers and multiple sources for purchasing ramshorn manifolds as well as the y-pipe.

i don't think anyone minds answering questions, but you have to put forth a little bit of effort, especially if you're not going to provide pictures of the swap.
