tailgate & liftgate replacement

There is a OEM tire carrier and lower tail gate on eBay. They want $1,500 OBO. I'm not sure if your into that stuff, but it would be pretty cool. I have seen a silver tailgate floating around eBay for quite some time. I cannot find it right now.

I considered the lower tailgate w/ tire carrier - saw it on Ebay the day the accident happened....

Found both upper (with glass) and lower for $1,250 shipped on car-part.com. Hopefully, I can locate for less.

That sounds like a good price considering what you are getting. I paid $800 for a used rust free tail gate, including smoked glass, for my 4Runner and I felt I got a great deal.
