I just snagged a couple of these but I probably should have made sure it will fit both driver and passenger side before buying.
Yes, it will work on both sides!

Sorry for the redundancy. Does anyone know if the Tundra version of this product will work with the Land Cruiser?

Nah. It's called math and acceptable risk. I'm not knocking anyone who chooses to carry all the time and thereby mitigate that probability but delivering a blanket statement calling folks who choose not to "naive" is just lazy.

Do you take vitamins everyday? Do you wear a helmet when you walk down the street? Is all of your clothing FR rated? Did you get vaccinated against polio? Do you wear a seat belt?

Math, probability and acceptance of risk relative to your own position. That's all.

Risk is that interesting assessment which probability is not the only factor. The cost of what you can lose is just as important, sometimes more important, than probability.

The value of life far outweighs prejudice against tools that have proven to protect life, even when the probability of needing said tool is low.

I have never been in a situation where a gun would have made it better.

Many of us have. A gun is a tool, nothing more. You either have access to the tools you need to complete your task, or you don't. Success of completing that task without the proper tools will vary.

As far as having a shotgun (truck gun) in the tailgate, anyone that has ever had a truck gun knows speed of deployment is not the primary goal. That is what your sidearm is for, and that should be on your person at all times possible. A truck gun is a general purpose "do it all" firearm. It's for humanely putting down farm/ranch animals, animals that have endured a vehicle strike, varmints, etc, etc. It is for when you need more than a handgun, and you have time to get to your long gun (preferably long in advance). Using the proper tool for the job always makes sense when you understand how and when the tool is to be used.

Most carjacking encounters are close up. I’d rather just use a Taser Cq and accidentally back over the carjacker. I do not want his blood in my interior. Easier to power wash the undercarriage at car wash.🤷🏻

One of these.

I’ve had two in different vehicles and they are very well made and far more secure than most center console security products.
This guy Anti-Theft Car Safes | Shop Truck Safes | Console Vault - https://www.consolevault.com/ will build a Console Vault for a 200.

I've called this guy, had a vault in my Ram 1500. He doesn't make them for the 200
I could be wrong. I bought one from him for my Tundra and 4 Runner and when I bought the LC I called his wife and she said he would make one for it if I sent pictures and dimensions. I never did so, however. Perhaps I should try it again. I have one in my FORD and it is great.

He'd only be making them for non cool box editions I'd assume. If he does, I'd buy one for sure.

Yes I would think so. I have the HE so that was what I inquired about.

I'm in the minority. I'm keeping my cool box, you have to pry my cold dead fingers off of it. The HK P7 PSP can fit between the seat and my beer box. The AK with stock folded under my kids feet on the floor in the back.
If I have to go in somewhere I hide it in plain sight under a normal worthless something like a book or a towel. If it gets swiped I'll buy another. However, I might catch then in the act and drop them from 40 yards away with a standing pistol shot to the left eye

Yup, agreed. And to be clear, I am 100% in support of any our rights to make these decisions. I don't want to discourage anyone and I don't give a sh*t if a guy carries a concealed weapon, smokes the devil's cabbage, marries a dude named Phil or some combination there of. But I simply believe the probability and risk is worth considering when taking on the responsibility of carrying a firearm. It's not a great idea for everyone.

That all said, I just received my new Nighthawk Warhawk 9mm yesterday and took her for a spin today. Holee balls, that thing is a Ferrari!

Did anyone ever try this out to see if it fits? I feel like it's a pretty good spot for an Element E50
I have the desert does it for the LC 200. Made for the LC. It works great and if you buy “mag lite C Cell clips” they hold the E 50 perfectly so it’s very secure and you can easily grab it unlike using the Quik fist. I mounted mine to the rear of the desert does it on drivers side so the front of the desert does it has some room for other gear. I use the front for a knife/glass breaker/seat belt cutter.

I must be blind because I totally missed the dedicated LC200 MMP the first time I was looking at the website--thank you!

All good! I had been looking for a seat solution for some time and very happy with it. Well made and works great.

These fit… See below for a few considerations…

There are several limiting factors invluding:

-Center depth progressively shallows (see external contours under license plate.
-Two locki g latches must freely rotate downward, so must allow for this via barrel, etc.
-Latch cables of vafying intrusiveness (depending on your model year, LX/LC and/or dampers and/or auto open/close.

I’ve had my mod done since the very early days, and with my heavy foam/velcro combo, moisture has been a non-issue.

I think you meant to respond to someone else, my post was quoting about the little bracket that attaches to the drivers seat bolts. However, that's a pretty slick setup in the tailgate!
