Man.. I like that solution better than the WeThePeople Mount I recently purchased. Is that also Desert Does it?
Yes, it's their clockable extension attached to the MMP. I bought a relatively cheap holster from Amazon that has a finger release and I used the clip mounting points to attach it to the extension.

I wanted to gauge interest in tactical accessories for your 200. Where do you conceal in your vehicle when not on your person? What is the ideal location for driver (right handed? left handed?)

We have a relationship with a local tactical/machine shop owner who happens to be a 200-guy. They do a lot of custom stuff and I’m interested to get some feedback to him so we can get some practical products made for y’all.
I would love a case that is toolbox shaped and fits into the rear tailgate slot for my Glock 43x …..

The purpose of having a defensive weapon is to have it close by.

I'd like to mount a rifle rack across the roof. There is an Australian company that makes a mounting point where the grab handles are but they do not recommend any weight on it .
Is this just for transport to a shooting location or defensive for zombies or whatever?

If for zombies or whatever the front seat floorboard barrel down. If for transport the back seat floorboard.

Mounting anything on the ceiling with that much mass that has the potential to become a projectile during a collision just something to think very hard about.

Anybody running the Desert Does It lower seat mount have issues with the seat automatically moving back/forward when you turn truck off/on interfering with mount?

Not backwards but forwards yes. My wife is vertically challenged. And to go from my pre programmed seat position (lowest and furthest back) to hers (highest and full forward) she can't use the preset button as the seat adjusts forward first then up. And it will hit the mount. So she has to remember to move seat up first then forward manually amd not use the program button. It's apparently enough of an inconvenience for her that she doesn't want to drive it anymore. So I consider it a win...

Haha sounds like a win. Luckily my wife does not drive the truck.

The roof mount is a space saving solution. I had a Big Sky rack in my FJ60. I don't need to drive with my AR against my right leg like I was back in AFG.
