Anyone pop rivet the two pieces of the front skid plates together? Personally I think that it would be much easier to put on and take off if they were connected more permatly. I wrestled for like 30 minutes today, trying to get the two pieces together and bolted up.

What's wrong with the OE skid plate? I acidently ran it over when I had it off, and no damage to report on it.
If you put it next to the BudBuilt one, you'll see what I mean.

I used mine hard for 5 years before I had to replace it. I did bang it back into shape a number of times though before it finally died. I doubt riveting them together would make anything easier. I'd leave it as is and upgrade when you wreck it. Here's mine.
