Looking to mount my Nexus 7 tablet to run navigation along with Torque and a blue-tooth OBDII connector.

I was looking at these type of seat rail type of mounts but there doesn't seem to be a good way to mount that in my 2001 LX470. Am I missing something?

Other than the seat rail mounts, what other types of mounts are you guys using for smaller 7'' tablets?

A know a few 'Mud members have Pro Clip mounts for their phones, tablets, and other devices. You can build your own mount through their website to customize it to your liking. I've been looking at possibly getting one for my iPhone 6.

I use

I move the suction cup mounts between my LC , Boat and Syncro. I have two X grips that I use for my Nexus, Iphone, Nexus tab or iPad mini... Best i have found for off road and on water I have never had them pop off etc... You can change out the mounts and arm lengths and pretty much customize them the way you want. If you want to mount permanently they have those options as well but the suction cup mount has never failed me .

Here is what I have

Then I swap out this for the Nexus and Ipad Mini....

I also use rammounts but have attached to bolted location using SS tubing.

This 1999 land Cruiser initially came with Casset and CD unit, so I removed both and placed 7" Samsung 4 Tablet in its space. Its almost the right size. It can play music, movies (WiFi), has internet connection in-car (youtube etc) and GPS. plus i think it looks ok. Just another option if you decide to go this way... lets hear what you guys think.
