T case missing bolts? (1 Viewer)

I was getting ready to work on my t case this morning and on inspection of the t case I noticed the 2 circled areas (threaded) had no bolts in them.

Was something removed off the back of the t case and not replaced?

97 LX450, new to me

I think the early 93-94 cases had a splash type plate in that place. Seemed borderline useless, so I removed it when I rebuilt mine.
