Never mind/ I am just going to have it shipped in!!! If i don't like it, i will just sell it to my buddy Schmauch. Hopefully that won't happen. He always gets my cruisers that i get sick off. Or we will just be meeting up together to show off our pigs!!!! Anyone have any input???????????

It's a good looking Pig....in the pics, but they're crafty at disguising rot and I'm a little leery of anything I can't, or a other classic cruiser guy can't, lay hands and eyes on.

Yes pics do look nice.. I am waiting for the owner to send me some close up pics of this Pig. Will also be calling Mudraks Cruisers, since they did some work on it. Richard says there is no rust but i need to be the judge of that....

No such thing as no rust....

My recent experience, sight unseen experience after numerous communications with seller.

After asking opinions here on Mud, post delivery....

Ok, you asked so I will be candid (dont have me :D) I am sure some other pig gurus will chime in, ones who know these better than I.

I think the seller misrepresented it some. Posted are 2 questions on the ad. Check the floorboard, is it rusty? The body mounts need to be replaced. Are the floorboards solid?

Q: What is the condition of the deck, rust holes thru the floor pan? How many miles on the engine? Jun-03-13
A: behind rear seat passenger side rusted thru where bracket holds rear seat at wheel well. miles on engine not sure. odometer reads 06115. the engine looks like a rebuilt engine. runs very strong. front and rear floor boards are solid.

Q: any rust? floorboards? rockers? Jun-03-13
A: yes there is rust on passenger side behind rear seat. as for floorboards they appear to be solid.

What I got...

Just so you're aware and to assist in not replicating the same situation.

At the price and pics, it's appears a much better starting point than I chose, but it may still require some form of abatement.

HTH.

Delancy// You are sooo right about the rust and the trust issue with the seller when it comes to buying a west coast Pig... I wish i could check it out in person but thats not a option right now. Will have to go on the pics that he is sending. Will also see what this owner of Mudraks Cruisers has to say about this Piggy that he put the power steering set on. Thanks for your input and good luck with your pig rebuild!!

I saw this on craigslist a few months ago and decided to search since it looked a little familiar. Looks to be the same exact one that sold a few years ago (2009) on here by Vernon. Just with some black paint over the silver. The current seller is in northern California and so was Vernon. If you look closely at the pics you can tell it's the same truck.
check the link. Maybe Vernon can give you more detailed info on it.
