Hello everyone,

I would like to swap out my 3.73 LSD for 4.11 and am wondering if I can use my LSD with the new gears. Now, I know its possible, but if it is something that I need a shop to do then i might as well pay for an ARB. If its is something I can do (limited experience with axles) then it might be worthwhile it to put it in the front. Just trying to gauge what it takes to move the limited slip to the 4.11 3rd member.

Thank you,

David

Hey David, you pm box is full, could you clean that out-I'd like to send you one.
thanks

What is the compatibility between ring and pinion gears for 40's 60's and 70's series. Would stock 4.11's from an old 40 (did 4.11's come in anything else in the US?) fit in a newer 60 or 70? Sorry I couldn't help

Hey David ( namesake) short answer .. yes you can .. easy and good swap, so you know you can keep both ends with LSD ..

My advice before put it in, do a rebuild ( Toy have a rebuild kit ) adjust it and you get good LSD ...

yes you can if you use the stub end of the donor driveshaft, the auto 62 came with 4.11 gears ...
