Swap Meet: How many of you plan on selling parts?

Depending on how many non-CLCC sellers are coming we could consolidate the club in to one or a couple tents. Point being maybe we should leave as much rig parking for folks driving a ways to support the event.

Yeah, I am working out those logistics with some overheads of the property. There is plenty of "overflow" parking but I want to get a solid idea of these number of spots we can have available for sellers.
I am planning on selling, but will probably drop my stuff off and park my truck on the perimeter.

I may sell some of my museum quality crap.

In the Hamfest world (Amateur radio swapmeet) the sponsoring club has the first or prime location table/canopy where members with a few items to sell can drop off their pre-priced items. Those members selling stuff at the club table take turns minding the "store". This way the sellers are not stuck watching their stuff all day. If a buyer wants to negotiate, the member minding the store calls the seller on the radio/PA and tells the seller to return to the table to negotiate the deal of the century with the buyer.

This tent is also serves as the information booth, the raffle ticket depository, the library of marketing and other event info, the home for the PA microphone, the display of the raffle items, etc. - the overall command post.

My 2 cents worth.

That is great info. I urge us to follow that model. Any other words of wisdom? I am not schooled in the ways of the swap meet... can you tell? The swap meets I've been to have been at race tracks with plenty of room and people set up tables and lay their stuff out. They are not interested in showing off their cars at the same time.

I am planning on having some of my slightly used items there. I like Ed's idea. I we can drop the stuff off and go park. If you are like me and not haul your junk with a cruiser. I do plan on posable bringing my 40.
I think we should line the grassy area next to the wood line with cruisers.

Sent from an electronic brain!

I have just a set of 33" BFG all terrains to sell on FJ40 wheels. I don't need a private spot, but I would like to have my 40 parked near the action area

I've contacted 3 people I saw on CL who were selling parts and told them about the swap meet. All 3 got back to me and said they'd think about coming down. Do they need to sign up to sell or just show up?
