Suspension settleing

Can any one with a 3" J lift or simmilar tell me how much if any these things settle out. I can camp a small army in the rear wheel wells with 31's on there. I was planning to go with 33's but I may have to reconsider the 35 route. I can't regear now so I will have to ponder that. Thanks.

I have to agree, from what I have seen, 35's look SWEET with J's ...... however when you factor the gears in on top of the 35's things get spendy quick!

Last summer I installed J's and 35" MTR's. I love the look, but there's a LOT more work involved to get it set up correctly, which I still need some of this stuff myself. I haven't re-geared yet, as waiting to install ARB lockers at same time. The truck's 6 is a lot more torquey with the 35's than my 4cyl. in my 85 when I went to 33's so it's a lot more driveable, but you will really want to re-gear ASAP with 35's. IF you can spare the extra cost for all the extra parts needed, Go for it. If you want to install the lift and tires and forget it, go for a 2.5" and 33"s. I really like the taller tires, but for me, it's a slow upgrade to get to my final goal. It would have required a lot less work for 33's. Check Slee's site for more info on what he recommends for running 35's. Just my hard learned 2 cents.

Here is mine with Js and new BFG 285/75/16s. I measured it the other day and it has not settled one bit in 60 days and IMO it won't (until it gets several trips offroad). I do not advise 315s...I have had both with and without a supercharger and 315s kills performance and economy with stock gearing IMO.

This is with the original 31's. Going now to get the 33's put on. Can't afford the regear so I am going ahead with the 33's. I'll have to put up with the gigggles from you guys.
