Thanks guys.

Locked, its a 2 part urethane based ute liner. Weird stuff, its really hard yet flexible. The hardener for the kit is like a thick honey.
I spilled some mixed product on a newspaper and when it dried I could bend it without snapping it.
If you are interested and can't find it up there let me know I may know a distributor I think supercheap used to stock it.
About $165/kit I did both sides of floor and used 2.5 kits. Could have probably got away with 2 but I had a 3rd kit because I may do the FRP roof? or other stuff.

Gday suspension seat owners. So for someone who has never experienced such a thing, would you recommend one for a troopy? Firstly, are they really noticeably more comfy? Secondly, will I have trouble squeezing past the base to get in the back? Cheers

Damien I have been in a troopy and a bundy with suspension seats and they make a noticeably difference IMO.
They are higher so not all seats will fit or may restrict Knee room between the bottom of the steering wheel and top of seat base and they do restrict access to the back because of the higher base. A little hindrance for back access not impossible though.
I know people with sore backs (machine operators) who swear by them.

Thanks for the instructions on use JuanJ! I have two BJ74's one with and one without. No comparision,
the suspension seat is fantastic! I'm 85 kg's but 5'5" and find they keep me sitting high enough to see
over the hood. Not a big deal getting past them into the back for me, but I'm not too worried as it's easy
to go through the rear doors.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm definitely tempted, will come down to price. I hope to find out soon which is the best part number to suit my floor and get a quote on some new ones. That I'll compared to some stratos suspension seats, and wbich ever will be the easiest to import will be the winner. If I can get them locally from toyota I suspect that will be the best option.

Hello,

@cruiserpilot: you are welcome. I am glad you found them useful.

Has anyone had difficulty with throttle control due to their suspension seat? It might be operator error, but I have noticed that when I am driving over bumpy terrain in low range the up-and-down motion allowed by the suspension seat makes it difficult to keep from stabbing the throttle after each bump. There is no question that they are comfortable, though.

That has been my solution so far, just wondered if my throttle control was not what it should be :)
Sorry, that's all I got. :)
I don't have an issue in the WalMart parking lot.

The 12ht likes to kangaroo once you hit a pot hole in most gears from the massive torque it delivers down low. The fix is a extra spring on the throttle linkage + throttle dampener and jamming the right foot against kick panel also helps us right hand drivers in the bush. :)

Set them for a higher weight and then lock them with the lever for off-roading.
