I don't "surf," but I've been rolled while coming in through the surf. Here's mine loaded up for a day on the water.

great pics ... too scared to get mine that close to salt water tho ;)

Oasis

Eh, WTH!
They'll rust in an airtight garage. Just as well have a little fun with 'em:D

That's the spirit! I take mine on the beach all the time. I'm very fastidious about washing off the salt and sand afterwards. It's probably going to rust someday but I'd rather it happened by having fun. Besides our fossil fuels won't be around forever! :frown: My kids probably won't even want to inherit it by then.

Anyway nice to see my old thread revived! Keep the pictures coming!

A thread dedicated to surfers and their gear storage. Let's see some shots of your cruisers beach bound.

This Surf Rig was a big influence for me to get my own. Good job!

Just got a new gopro for Christmas

I'm pretty excited to start using my new GoPro camera. I took the family to the beach the day after Christmas to skate & bike a paved trail. The very first pictures were of my beloved LC.

Just stumbled accross this thread. The main reason I bought my wagon was to load it up with boards and live out of it on surf trips. On the subject of board storage, my Thule hard shell box works well for my short boards. I can fit three boards in it (6'1" fish, 5'8" patterson, and 6'3" patterson) all in bags. I've also fit my fiances 7'2" fun shape instead of the fish. It locks up and gives a little piece of mind when leaving my wagon unattended. my 9' walden is left to fend for itself on the rack, but i'm pretty sure i could catch up to any one silly enough to try and walk off with that log. :)
I'll be sure to snapp off some cruiser beach porn on my next outting.:steer:

We should have a surf meet n' greet!

Tikitweaker, post some surfing pictures up with your new GoPro. My little brother has his old one waiting for me to get picked up. Can't wait to try it.

I totally agree and since I last posted in this thread we moved back to San Diego.

Token N.C.T. SurfRig pics..(Non Cruiser Toyota)
Well, I got nothing since my '60 died over 5 years ago. Since then I've been rocking this (rear seats down w/ boards crooked into the passenger seat:

I need to get out to The Hook or Steamers soon, even if it's just to play bobber. (Back's messed up.)

Still a Toyota. I'm watching You Tube videos on Santa Cruz. Never surfed up there.

Also not surfing, but...

I did not take this picture, but it's the PO's pic that made me fall in love with her.

breathing life into an old thread

Summer has arrived. And in the northwest that doesn't necessarily mean that we have frolicking bikini clad sunbathers....Here are few recent shots for those FJ surf junkies.
