Anyone have a pic of the red 55 jumping (which resulted in a broken knuckle and the sand rails that launched off of the dunes?

Big Props to Locals Miles and Jo

Big Props to Locals Miles and Jo. And Also to my bud Matt who hooked us up with the locals, and let us use his rig for driving around in.

First ride out Both DomSmith and I busted our rigs. I found out
that I really did not have the clearance needed between my water pump pulley and my electric fan. Dom, well, I'll let him tell ya all, but he required parts too.

We went to local junkyards, Friday night and Saturday Morning. Came back empty handed. On our return from Saturday Morning, I had a message on my phone that Miles and Jo had sourced out our parts. They brought me what I needed, and Dom had to travel out to SLO area to get his. We got our stuff at rock bottom prices when we could of been raked over the coals.

I made the poker run, and Dom was ready for Saturday nights adventures. Most importantly we were able to drive back home under our own power.

First off thanks for everything Jim, another great year! Had a blast meeting a bunch of people again like every year. Glad I could help you out with the Taurus fan Shane. Now I need to make it to another land cruiser event beside a swap meet or two and surf n turf. Cruiser ran good glad I got my brake booster on before I went out. Otherwise I would have been waving people to move out of the way before I hit them. Hope everyones drive home wasn't too bad. Especially the Canadian who hit the Elk and rolled on the way down! PROPS TO HIM.

Good to see everyone,

-Joe

Wish I had my camera there for that one Kathy!! That was epic. The look on your daughter's face as Bill was piloting the rig through the air was priceless!

Nice to meet and hang out with you and your family...plus Ophelia the goat!

best.

I wanna see it!

Equally impressive is that they got it fixed and drove it back to camp in time for lunch...

Anyone have any pics of my FJ55 jumping the dunes :D

Anyone got one of me struggling up the dune? Everyone has one of me stuck in the hole on the other side...

That one with the doggies has Screensaver written allover it.

Not to hijack, but what kind of Camera did you use? Such deep and rich colors.

I must have been driving my rig when you were too, the only pics I got at the dunes was Pighead climbing. :frown:

hey solo surfer i have some from check point 3 let me check....

Thanks, I appreciate it. :) I let my friend drive it on Sunday morning just so that I could see it in action. Only problem was that my camera was in the glovebox, haha.

Great pics so far, I'm bummed that I missed all the jumping.
