Roger should be bring the banner.
Ross, do you need a members list ?
Have a good time. Wish I could make it, but I have work to take care of.

I did not go but apparently the Knorr Bothers did what the Knorr brothers do at SnT

Ross winning is not surprising... but rumor has it he had to bail Saturday night, and head to the Oakland Coliseum to cook for his tailgate party...

Kudos to your Raiders Ross... an overtime win in a sold out game!

Actually, I missed the game. Ross Jr was in rare form, and chose to propse to his Girlfriend Saturday evening on the Beach...

Anyway, I had backups cover the tailgate

Woody won again this year?
What was this years Menu?
Here's my post from the Sand Chef thread
We are truly humbled and fortunate to have found three recipes that work for our judging panel. My wife Tina and her friend Cheryl get all of the credit, as they did the shopping while I was working on my 40's issues.

Our winning forumla included both "Surf" and "Turf"

SURF -- Corn Chowder -- key ingredients - both bbq roasted white corn, and frozen yellow corn. We had Cod filet, King Crab and shrimp. many seasonings and spices, potatoes, red onion, red bell Pepper, half and half. -- many said this was our best entry.

TURF -- Pork Tenderloin filet, stuffed with chorizo and smashed corn chips, tied and rolled in my BBQ Rib rub and smashed corn flakes, then cooked in a Dutch oven. We topped it with a roasted white corn and Mango salsa.

Dessert -- Carmel popcorn balls. corn was popped on the camp stove. Carmel was made on site as well. popcorn, caramel, dark chocolate pieces, m&ms rolled together. Drizzled with regular carmel (store bought, but melted) and chocolate. Might have been "too many" components.

Again -- Big Thanks to Alvaro, our prize sponsor Tembo Tusk, and the other teams. It was good to see Doug back again, and unfortunate that Roberto's 3rd dish failed. The women's team always seems to push us, as all are such great competitors.

Looking forward to next year already

Did Big Jim make it back yet?

His tow rig shut down halfway up Cuesta grade, he left with a tow truck to a dealer in SLO on Sunday. I looked under the hood for him, told him uhyup doesn't run!
