As posted over in the trails and events Pismo thread.

Well, to be honest, I have been holding out on you all.

Saturday Night I rolled my rig out in the dunes.

Combo of too much gas, turning, and some uneven surface.

We flipped onto the passenger's side, then rolled to the driver's side, where the door opened and stopped the roll. The came out unscratched as she had her full harness on. Me on the other hand, thinking I was going out for a mellow cruise, had only my lap on. Damage to me, was hitting my ear on the f*$Ken cheep CCOT center console that has a crappy latch. Tore the back side of my ear up pretty good. Luck for me DomSmith(paramedic by trade) cleaned out the ear and suchured it up, just a well as stitches would of done. Props go out to Chris, Dom, Matt, and Chris's roomate who helped get it back on it's feet. Ok, now for what you all want ... photos!!! Tough rig.. drove it home the next day.

Every hour I put into that Metal Tech Cage was well worth it. Buy one if you don't already have one.

Most of the damage was to the hood. Too bad I did not get around to putting on the nose protector I bought from MT. Soft top bowes need some bending back in place. Soft top has one tear. fenders are a bit wonkie. Windshield frame is skewed a bit towards the passengers side.

Anyways keep an eye out for me in the wanted section. I have some long jump seats I would like to trade for some good fenders. And Some other goodies to trade for a hood and windshield frame.

I am not even all that bumbed, just kinda stoked to come out of it as well as we did.

This was my 6th trip out to pismo in this rig, I found the limit.

These guys were from El Salvador, well except for the boss who lives in Malibu running yard services. These guys were sharing everything they had. Good group of guys.

nice! glad you are ok, looks like the damage is minimal.....

BTW, if you want to go the tube fender route, I have a metaltech tube fender kit that I need to sell, the kit is the "oem" style kit, so you won't have to cut your aprons at all, let me know if you are interested.

I can't believe how minimal the damage was...totally impressed with the strength of these trucks. Only thing that really counts is that no one was hurt too bad.....Shane, look at it this way, your ears match now. Is it ironic that Metal Tech was giving out beers before this? I'm definitely sold on their products.

Love to help you out on any repairs if you need a helping hand.
