Supercharging a 22re (2 Viewers)

I was looking for a 22re performance upgrade with minimal custom parts fabrication. This turbo long block was rebuilt and now has enough miles on it to consider it broken in. The vehicle this engine is in has been neglected due to its lack of forced induction. Here is my solution to the neglect.

I believe it was Downey Off Road that sold a blower kit for the 20R/22R. Doubt any are around anymore.

Do you have a blower for it or are you looking for one?

Inner intake is in.

Test fit everything. Make sure all of the mounting bolts are started before tightening begins.

Fuel rail and injectors are in.

The fuel injector openings needed to be beveled to insert the fuel injectors with seals.
