Yeah, I heard that line this weekend when I met up with some locals who showed us trails to test the FJ40's new 34" LTBs and Raceline wheels.

It was awesome. The unlocked, OEM geared 40 was clawing up stuff that the 80 had to be locked for. The LTB's frickin RULE; it was a seriously fun day. Look out when the Aussie 4-speed comes in.

Nice lookin rig and great pics. Just curious, what is the lift on that thing with the 34's and untrimmed rear fender skirts?

It's an Old Man Emu 2.5" lift, but the tires do not rub in the back even being 34's. It's close, though.

nice rig...im also looking for use the fj cruiser 17 black steelies.. with the same tires that you have,,now my question is ,how tall are the tires in overall..or with which tires on 15 rims did you compare the total height....cos i don't have any suspension yet and i´m looking which way will work better....soa or 4 " sua..thanks..

got those on my rig with NO lift. NEED something ASAP! haven't done any serious wheeling, but am getting some rubbing even in the desert over some small piles and rocks. haven't really been able to test em yet

luke,i believe after reading your post that you have the 15 of ltb version. he is running the 34x10.50x17 and he said that have 2.5 OEM lift .I´m following this thread cos i´m just buy today 4 FJ cruiser 17 rims,don't have it yet and no tires,but my choice will be the LTB 34x10.5x17..reading a little on the web they are 33.8 " high,have more loading capabilities and its on special at 4wheelparts for $150.00 ea. On my side i dont plan to buy the tires yet, cos my 40 its on a slow resto, but at $50.00 for the 4 rims i can´t let it go...

They're listed as 34x10.5...
