This is an ongoing issue with the OME rear shocks on the 200 series. Not enough thread on the top stems to secure properly. My left rear squeaked horribly. There is a fix on here that adds a few washers to make up for the short threads that'll fix the issue. How did they insulate the strut? If you've been running them a while with that squeak, I've seen pictures on here where that mounting hole will get enlarged.UPDATE: The suspension noise has been diagnosed and fixed. It was coming from the right passenger rear struct top mount. The bore on the frame for top of the struct to go in was claimed to have enlarged due to improper install. It was fixed by insulating the struct.
They told me that they just used Teflon tape and that was able to get rid of the sound...This is an ongoing issue with the OME rear shocks on the 200 series. I'd get yourself some washers and fix it correctly. I don't think that teflon tape will last long and seems to be addressing the symptom but not the cause. They told me that they just used Teflon tape and that was able to get rid of the sound...
Great, thank you for the information!I'd get yourself some washers and fix it correctly. I don't think that teflon tape will last long and seems to be addressing the symptom but not the cause.

The squeak on the 12.5g is different because it's tucked up so tight. We cut the tabs and then install sheet rubber as a barrier, which has worked great. The 40g really isn't tucked up to tight so I doubt the LRA is the issue. Where are you in CA? May be worth a visit to @orangefj45, @Dissent, or @TRAIL TAILOR to get that thing shaken down
Definitely cut the tabs on all 3 sizes. Are you saying that 24g or 40g does not require cutting off these tabs?
