Successful Nav to Non-Nav Conversion - *Paging Cloudsurfin*

I have an ‘08 with Nav plus the GROM VLine2. For us it’s amazing. Google maps, iheartradio app, Amazon music app, TorquePro...
I’m sure others have a longer wishlist for their infotainment system than us but I don’t understand the time/money/hassle of swapping out to none Nav.

*edit: I understand the pre-2007 Nav units have a far inferior screen. I would understand wanting to upgrade that.

This may be a stupid question, but do the climate functions still operate on screen with the Grom? If not how do you change climate modes? Or do you just leave it on Auto?

Everything on the OEM infotainment works exactly the same. The only difference is when you are in "audio" and change to "Disc-AUX" the GROM screen will come up.
