A guy sold me the harmonic balancer on the left saying that it will be a direct fit on my f120 engine, but they are clearly different, do I have the original one? Is it really a direct fit?

Im trying to change it because ever since we put an alternator on it, a abnormal squeaky sound has developed. Ive been checking all over the place with the stethoscope and I think the soud comes from the crankshft pulley but I am not certain.

No, that one won't work. The original is press on and has no dampener, pulley only. Not much can go wrong with them other than bending, rusting or flying off. So if you really think that the pulley is squeaking it's worth pulling it, resealing and resetting. I usually put them back on with Loctite.

Just noticed your engine in the background. Your crank or engine is not original or has been modified, but that could be the original pressed pulley which may very well now be the source of your noise, since it was not meant to be installed that way. That replacment pulley may work? Only one way to find out, take it apart and figure out what was done there.

Just uploaded a video of the squeaky sound, is real bad...
