stupid question about gauges... (1 Viewer)

I know that someone is going to laugh at this, but how do I change over my gauges to the electrical type. Currently all my after market gauges are the mechanical type, ie they have a tube (Normally copper) coming from the back of the gauge and going to a sensor/adaptor attached to wherever it should be. I would like to change over to some smoke face gauges but they only come in the electrical type, and all they have is a bunch of wires coming from the back? Anyone got any ideas?

Purchase the electric gauges and the corresponding senders that go with them. Remove old gauges and plumbing. Install gauges, new senders, run wire, done. It really is that simple.
