I need to install some LED lights and I notice the truck has two empty rectangular positions for switches..

I see tons of them on amazon or ebay, but the look pretty el Cheapo (does it even matter) plus none of them like like a five way.

Sorry for the oh so very basic question

I bought all of my light switches from Otrattw - The Switch Guys. I went with their Contura V line. I hope that by "five way" you are referring to the five leads that you attach wires to on the back. They fit perfectly in the factory switch blanks

If it's a 5 lead switch, it means that it's a double throw switch which has 3 positions, top is to activate one switch, middle is off, and the bottom is to activate another switch. You have 2 switches in one, but only one can be activated at a time.

Correcto..

I want to be able to actuate my lights at unison with the OEM lights or independently..
