So I got a heck of a deal on a "used" Kanz kitchen and pantry but had no practical way of storage due to the size of both pieces and my fridge. I've been wanting to do something with 80/20 for a while and decided to use it for my build. I can post specifics if people are interested whenever I get to my computer.

We drove to Arkansas to pick up the pieces and did some fishing while we were there. Great times as you can tell from my buddies face. Items were part of a divorce settlement and the wife let them go for a steal. Included tons of nice Snow Peak cookware.

Fits perfect. Need to put down some non-skid material as the poly/waxed surface was stupid.

That is a very sweet set up you have, looks like a lot of planning and hard work went into it.

Looks great. Kinda ala Goose Gear. Looking to build a rear system as well and keep debating 80/20 vs plywood.

I lost some valuable inches going this route. I like the look and it is definitely light enough. The heavy duty locking slides make up a lot of the weight. I have more plans for the 80/20 as I did enjoy working with it.

Nice 80/20 apply!

so what type size of material did you use for the skins? Any pics of the panel assembly? Good Work!

Hey Dave, check the caps lock on your key board. Just sayin.... all caps is like shouting on forums, in an angry way.

Did not know the finer point of typing etiquette.

It is the 9000 series (9005, etc) quick frame. 1/4" under-laminate, 3/4" slide bottoms, too many rivets, 1/2" ply for drawer, southco c2-32-35 latch, 20" Accuride HD locking slides (used ebay special), 28" slide for drawer (generic 100 something lb deal), all wood is finished with marine spar varnish. 3/4" plywood base secured to 80 series body using 10mm bolts, tee nuts for securing boxes to base, also 10mm.

Man, that looks great.

Thanks guys. After driving around a little with it back there I do need to silence those tie down points. Suckers rattle.

how about coating them in that poly dip stuff for tool handles?- just the rings...to silence them when they bounce...

I bet that would work well and look nice. Thanks

Mr. 80720 , thanks for the parts list & info. The pics are helpful & look great too.

No worries Dave. Thanks for the kind words. I look forward to getting some use out of it this year.
