Hey guys,

We are looking for a 2008 or newer Toyota Land Cruiser ASAP. We are in the process of developing a brake kit for this application and need a vehicle to use for testing the kit. Please contact us if you or someone you know is interested in helping us develop this kit. Please direct all questions and concerns to David Lim at (310)933-1142 (direct line) or email dlim@stoptech.com.

We are located in the industrial area of Compton in Southern California, less than a minute from the freeway.

For more information about the company, please visit StopTech : Balanced Brake Upgrades

We really appreciate your help on this. Thank you!

I could sure use some better brakes! In AZ, but how long would you need the vehicle for?

FWIW I just installed the Stoptech Big Brake Kit up front on my 100-Series. Just got it off the jackstands and out for a quick trip around the block. Although I'll do the break-in over the next couple days the difference in pedal feel/feedback was immediate and pronounced compared to OEM: Just the way the engineer I spoke to at Stoptech in advance of the purchase told me! Can't wait to get them bedded in and feel what they're really capable of doing!

I had a couple minor questions during the installation process and the guys answer the phone on the 2nd or 3rd ring at Stoptech and I got answers pronto! So based upon the interaction I've had pre and post sale I'm happy to report Stoptech is somewhat of anomaly in the aftermarket auto parts biz!

Now hurry up and get the rear kit for the 100 done will ya?! :D

I know the 200-Series has larger rotors to begin with so maybe the net difference won't be as dramatic?

We would need the car for about 3 days to get some data logged, but we need it pretty soon, as a few deadlines are catching up with us. I know you're in AZ, but if you're in the area at all, it'd be great to be able to use your vehicle in exchange for some brake parts.

spressomon - Thanks for the great review, and i'm glad you like our product!

Email sent. Will give you a call tomorrow. Thanks for the opportunity! :bounce2::clap:

You suck Mitch...disappear for like a year and then grab free brakes? They were going to be mine! Haha! Welcome back man :)

Any chance of getting a kit together for the FJ80s? I'm sure you would have a lot of interest. :grinpimp:

Let me see if I can convince the wife to take a trip out to CA :)

I could go for some 8 piston calipers how about you?

Nope! :)

You need the hydraulics behind them to squeeze those suckers...and the 80's hydro's suckaroo. Wonder if the brake booster from a 100 could be made to work on an 80. I'm not smart enough to know the answer.

How long would you need the vehicle for? Could you install and test over a weekend?

Hey David, Don't know how much you work with Jeremy Barras but last month when he was over here at my factory in the UAE. I told Jeremy that Stoptech can use both the armored and unarmored TLC's I have and full use our test area. Cause anything I can do to help speed up the 6/4 piston 17inch R&D let me know.
