I got lucky the same way a few years back. I was at a Santana concert at the Pima Cty Fairgrounds. came out and the Cruiser was gone.
Actually rented a pilot and plane for 3 hours on Sunday, cruising above the desert looking for something.
Got back on the ground, went home and the cops had found it, with the high lift gone, and the rear end filled with empty beer cans, outside the Wildcat House. apparently someone just wanted to get back to town.
Replaced the starter and all was well. As I said, Lucky
