Stock rear 80 coils

How would stock 80 coils work for rear air bag replacement ?

Most likely not well. FJ or 4R of the same model range would, the spring mounts even bolt up to holes for the airbags! The biggest thing is getting a proper lower spring mount (MetalTech sells one).

Dan is correct. the 80 coils are too big - overall outside diameter is too large. I tried to fit the stock coils from my 80 series while lifting our GX - it's a no go.

Just checking new to the gx and have a set of stock 80 coils.
Dan I have been checking your build thread and love your gx.
Looking to build my gx into the ultimate back road /camping rig
