Wife's daily driver & occasional family camping rig.
White with tan leather. Stock other than an upgrade to slotted rotors & better pads.
207k+ miles on the odometer
Asking $14k (New CVT tent and new LABRAK platform rack can be included, but will be extra)

The good: Like with all '03 100 series, this rig has been very dependable. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country in a heartbeat. It was never smoked in & has been garaged most of its life. It's on Mobil1 synthetics and had it's 180k check-up a little over a year ago.

The less so: It is a 10 year old truck. A good detail job inside and out will help a great deal on outward appearances, but the truck could use some love in a couple of places:
1. It's time to update or freshen up the suspension. I was considering doing this myself prior to listing it, but multiple folks talked me out of it citing the fact that different buyers would have different suspension preferences.
2. It will be time for new tires in the next 10-15k. I was also planning on doing this and was again talked out of it.
3. The rear DVD player and the center CD/DVD changer are inoperable. They'd already given up the ghost when I bought the rig in '08 and I didn't care enough to replace them. It could very well be loose connections somewhere, but I'm assuming it's more likely that some internal hardware has been rattled loose.
4. Minor hail damage dents on the roof. You have to climb up on top and stare to see them, but there's a few up there.
5. @ two years ago the truck was in a very minor fender bender. My wife was was stopped at a stop light and was struck lightly from behind. It had just begun raining and it was one of those situations where it hadn't rained in some time and the road surface was oily at the intersection. The car that hit her bent the bike rack into the rear bumper and taillight. The bike rack took the brunt of the impact and was totaled. The hitch, bumper and L rear taillight were all replaced. Since the body shop was going to do some painting, I asked them to repaint all of the side moldings while they were at it.
6. I have managed to snap the tabs on the factory roof rack rail covers. I will replace these with new ones if the buyer prefers the factory roof rack over the LABRAK.

Here's current pics. I am planning on having the truck detailed, but wanted to share the before pics to be completely honest about its current condition.

pics of dings / scratches / nicks

Again, in full disclosure, here's the little imperfections. I expect many of these to buff out in the detailing.

No comments yet. What's the general consensus? Should I upgrade the suspension and tires and raise the price. Should I leave everything as is?

You might be falling into that "weird" price range for a 100. I think a 1998 or 1999 stock 100, with 200k miles could be had for $10k pretty easily or could spend $20k and get 2005+ maybe. Not saying your price is too high, but just my general thought.

I'm actually interested in getting an additional 100 with higher miles, but I'd only be buying under $10k, if I can find a decent one.

I think the above poster might be being a little too nice :) I think the vehicle is overpriced.

For 14k you can buy a really nice 100 that is maybe a few model years older, but has a lot less mileage. The general Hundy-buying population is likely not nearly enamored with the '03 as we are here on MUD, so if they see a 01 or 02 with less miles and similar or lower price I imagine they'd grab it.

Did you have the TB/WP done a 2nd time? You mention the 180k checkup complete but not sure what that means.

With new tires and suspension you might be able to get ~15k from someone who really wants an '03, but that's probably not worth your time and effort. Good luck with sale, and if nothing else I commend you on your honest and straightforward assessment of the vehicle! As someone who has been searching for awhile now, searching near and far it is hard to know exactly what you're looking at.
