Sean glad everyone is ok what's the other guy look like?

Thx guys for your concerns. The driver fled the scene leaving her car. No insurance but we found her info in the glove box (stupid)! Her car is trashed, ours looks fixable but not sure I want it.

ouch!! glad everyone is OK. Sounds like a DUI if she fled the scene, that'll have its own consequences!!

Anybody know if a hundy body will fit on a 60 chassis

I seen a bobbed 60 today. It looked really interesting.

Is that to repair or that what they are buying it for? I don't know hundy's at all

These are the numbers they gave me.
Est. value of truck $11,255
Est. cost to repair $8,100
Salvage price $4,255

So basically I can take the $11k & give them the truck or keep truck & insurance gives me $7,000...I think.

I don't want to be in a moving 40 doing 100mph, now if it were stationary...different game.

I've got some ocean view property for sale in KS...though? :deadhorse:

ok... I like the cool speedos of years ago on some of the gm junk back then...had the cool metric and standard layout and then that great number "55" that no-one can drive...certainly I can't. I see the Km/H reference now, guess I'll have to take the whipping.. :)

I think some of those nice cars maxed on the speedo around 85 or so , good old smog carbed days and early start of fuel injection on some things.

My use of the word "cool" is not that I think it was good...back in the "day"..

I thought you were swapping out the speedo cable or doctored up a pic to show 100mph.. no big deal... I did go crazy one day and hit north of 80 in my tan brick...then I got concerned about the RPMs...due to low gearing.

Persimmon's are coming up all spoons all over the place, according to the lore spoons mean lots of snow. Guys better keep the cruisers gased and prep'd for some real driving this winter. I need to get mine up for a little check-up anyway.

6 hours on the skid steer and around 100 tons of stone later I think I am about ready to get somebody lined up for concrete. Note to self, everything needs geotextile under it.... it was soo soft I rode on the belly pan most of the day.

Sorry no pictures, I worked til I couldn't see. I will try to grab a couple tomorrow

Happy Thanksgiving guys

Happy thx giving! We won't be eating this good again till New Years ride!

Cheers
