We are good here in north Williamson county, I think Barry's area may have gotten the worst of it, as 2 people died in storm related injuries. Hope everyone else is safe. See you New Years!

I'm at Rob's not bad here just some branches down. I will not be home til Sat or Sunday to see if my house is OK.

Happy Kwanzaa!.

well...things started mild....but while I'm not impacted individually....many areas in the county I live in have flash flood issues...its rained here and rained hard since last night.... going to have some real issues with road repairs due to erosion/flooding. Local bridge right down from where I grew up is about 5 feet under water at its highest point....crazy...stuff going on

Stay safe @Elbert saw the tornado touched down south of you in B-ham. We got a good dose of rain today as well.

Ok Jason, time to spill the beans... what's this?

Toyota trucks and trails podcast

Well not much to spill. I have a ton of free time to listen to stuff at work, I discovered podcasts a year or so ago. There are several offroad type shows but nothing that focuses on toyotas and land cruisers, so I got the big idea that I could do a show as well as anyone else, I've been working on getting it put together for several months and was hoping to have a few episodes out before I posted anything on here but that didn't happen lol.
I have one episode out now, you can find it on iTunes or straight from my website [URL="http://www.toyotatrucksandtrails.com It's completely free to download. I hope to do interviews with people from all areas of the toyota community in a informative and entertaining way. I not an expert on anything nor am I a professional broadcaster so don't expect anything flashy just something I thought would be fun to do and I hope other people enjoy it.

That is a very cool idea Jason. I really dig the logo too. I will have to check it out when I get a few minutes.

Oops, sorry!! Blame it on Andy though, if it weren't for the bookface invite I would not have seen it. I actually listened to it, all of it, and have to bow down to yall's ability to fill 30+ mins with entertaining info.

Just one complain though, a Toyota with 90 LED lights is not permitted in the community, just sayin.

No worries Ted, I appreciate the exposure, just hoping to have a little more content. Thanks for listening and I agree about the LED thing just don't want to exclude any listeners, but we definitely won't be promoting that kind of build lol.

Yeah i was just kidding.

Yep, I'm here because of @radioridge . Started listening to it today. Glad you got the technical side of podcasting pretty well covered. I've been listening to podcasts since 2004 and believe me, there are tons out there that I just can't listen to because it sounds like they are recording in a truckstop bathroom. Nice introductory discussion on your first episode too. Best of luck @jason in tn.
