stiking gas pedal / 95 FZJ80

Anyone know what the cause might be for a sticking gas pedal? Sometimes when driving I have to put my foot under the gas pedal because it doesent fully come up or retract. If I do not lift the gas pedal it want to idle at about 1500 rpms. One time the pedal never retracted and stayed depressed when I was in park....The tructk has 72,000 miles on it...Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know about LC, but my VWs will have that problem and you can usually fix it with a lot of WD40.

Wife had the same problem last winter, I even turned it into the NTSB. It was not the cable, ended up being in the TPS pivot linkage area. A little silicone spray and all was well again.
