I need a big favor, could someone with an 80 measure the size of this sticker?

I need it for the 100 and it needs to cover up some holes in the side console and I want to ensure it will be large enough.

Ok, I thought I saw this in a locked truck before. Fingers crossed it is large enough to cover the holes in the console.

IIRC the diff sticker was on teh inside driver door panel by the arm rest on the 80. Only seen a few.... very few examples here on 'mud. Or maybe Im crazy.

Correct. That label was on the driver side door panel just below the window. Most previous owners probably removed them when they started to peel. The size of the sticker would not be tall enough to cover small holes in the plastic. It would cover the large hole I believe.

@ToothDr is correct and @retrofive is not crazy, the sticker is above the driver side door handle on my '97.

I have one on the DR doorpanel yet, swapped doorpanels recently to nicer ones, dumb luck I did the e-locker swap & got a grey doorpanel w/ sticker. Weeha.

@srf18 was damn close. It's 1 5/8" x 5" exactly

Maybe bondo or JB weld & a little jar of Testors model paint to fill that gaping hole & camo any stray hole that sticker doesn't cover.

Just a thought.

Have you thought of wiring in a USB charger or a conventional aux cigarette lighter plug ?
(Or is that what you just took out of that hole)

My locked 97 has the sticker on the driver's door. It's peeling a bit from one corner, but I can't bring myself to rip it off. I agree with others, it won't be tall enough to cover them all.

This is temporary.

USB is a great idea and one day I will do that.

That's strange, i looked all around my 94, it doesn't have one of those diff lock stickers anywhere on it, i wonder if the original owner removed it?

Meh, most were pulled by the 1st owners - they are just lawyer-ese labels & the top edge of the survivor in my doorpanel is curling where your hand rests when you have the window down & arm up there. Plus it's worn.

If I was bound & determined I'd stick it on the side of the dash where it meets the doorpanel, bet it had to be where it is to make lawyers happy. Nothing more.
