Stereo/wiring help? (5 Viewers)

I have these three wires coming into the stereo area. I assume they are pos, neg and ground? And that’s exactly the question.

Can you guys help?

1) these are part of the original 1987 FJ60 wiring harness.

2) at some point the stereo worked.

3) I did not put the “white” cap on so that wire is not requisite for stereo to operate.

4). They are not speaker wires.

5). MOST IMPT - Assume that I know Jack s*** about what in doing. Very safe assumption.

So this means that brown/blue goes to ground. Right?

Generally White with black dot is ground according to schematics. Got one of those in your harness?
