I installed a 3" lift with new OEM LCAs and Camburg uniball UCAs on my 07 4R. Alignment is about 3.0* positive caster with slight positive camber.

I'm experiencing more steering wheel feedback when driving in the city over bumps. It's not bump steer but there is slight movement in the wheel each time I drive over a bump. I imagine this is because of the changed suspension geometry but wanted to see what others is like. At slow speeds if I let go of the wheel you can see it move. It's not bump steer that causes me to change direction, just an increase in road feedback through the wheel.

Does this match others driving characteristics with a 3"lift?

Thanks in advance!

3 degree positive is fine. 3.28 is "factory" so you are actually negative caster so the steering will be "quicker" and will exhibit some of what you are describing. As you go up you lose caster. I had to get my adjustment maxed just to get 3.1 degrees with my lift. If you have any slack or wear in your tie rods or rack you can also have these things happen. I assume everything else checks out?

Did you change tires/wheels also? Or still on OEM tires/wheels?

Yes 275 KO2s.

You'll definitely get more feedback from the E rated tires, vs. the P metric that were probably on it before.

Check your air pressure also. Should be ~35 psi, give or take. Some shops think because it can handle 80 psi, that they should put 65 psi in it....

I had C KOs before. Tires are maintained between 40-45#

I installed a 2.5" lift with Camburg UCA's with the OEM Moog ball joints and 285 KO2s. I can't say I noticed an increase in steering wheel feedback. My castor came in at +3.1. Maybe the uniballs are providing more feedback? Did you replace any of the tie rod ends or anything else?

I can't remember what stock was. Does your wheel jiggle at all? It's really very minor. If you let go of the wheel when driving on a normal city street, does the wheel move at all from the front suspension articulation?

Yes, I can't say that it is anything I notice on paved roads but I know the steering wheel will move some with wheel articulation and bumps when off pavement. I will pay more attention on the drive to work this morning and report back.

On the street there is very slight movement of the wheel, depending on the size of the bump/dip.

Check your rack for leaks
