I'm curious to see if this is ever resolved too. Also feel that alignment computer data plus pictures are required to progress this thread.

I cannot even make out the panhard in that photo in the first post? to tell what the angle is like. Also cannot make out what shocks you are using. Its jacked up so high you would want 5 to 6 deg caster, and it would wander as I don't see a steering damper which would help.

Also I would like to know when you accelerate hard and then change gears does the vehicle dart to one side?

From the looks of that photo it appears as though you have a ruff stuff housing with 80 series balls on it with the 80 series arms on backwards . I would still have to say improper ackerman is your issue . I once had an fj40 that the previous owner decided to swap the steering arms side for side . He even managed to cut the tie rod and the ends down so that he could get proper toe in . It drove exactly as you describe as well as only being able to turn sharply one way . I am guessing that a lot of people are/were unaware of what ackerman does for the driving characteristics of cruisers but if I am correct in determining your current setup then I would have to say that is your issue . I think the hellfire setup would most likely solve it .

I love dangling questions :)

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you guys (I assure you its not because I don't appreciate all your help)
I finally got around to having a look, it was my C-sucking heims on the tie rod... seized to f@ck!

So the heims were bad then? All fixed and golden?

Looking at that last pic (still horrible btw lol) It looks like the bolt that holds your Draglink to the Pittman arm is at an angle. Is is supposed to be?

Yeah it must have been sticking when I'd turn even slightly... f@cking things.
The bolt is straight, muat just be a popsicle illusion. Well, it's parallel to the frame rail hahahaha
