Okay so my steering is stiff. I mean it has spots where it is definatley binding. The ps pump works great it has good pressure.
When i make a turn it will not center itself no matter what speed so as you can see i'm getting a bit worried.
Does this sound like a knuckle rebuild?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Oh ya the PO did not take very good care of the underside of things if you know what i mean so the knuckles look pretty dry I have tried to stuff more grease in there but it is a :censor: .

king pin bearings are gone. they develope ridges and groves making the steering hard and unresponsive.
i had one guy show up after driving Deerfoot and when i lifted the truck into the air it had 1" of movment in the king pin bearings, all the bearing had disinigrated leaving just the 2 races at the top...
lift the front end off the ground and grab the tire top in and pull bottom out, reverse and do it again, when you push in and pull out. there should be no movement at all. if there is see if the tire is moving or the complete knuckle assembly. if it is just the tire it is probably the wheel bearings and if it is the whole assembly then it will be the king oin bearings.
cheers
