2013 LX here - new to me with 160K miles - on start up when the steering wheel auto-adjusts it has a pretty good whiny squeak as it moves to its final position. like something down there needs to be greased.

Any others experience this or know what can be done to address?

Does is squeak when tilting or telescoping into position? Can you replicate it when adjusting the steering wheel with the control knob?

thank you turbo - it really only squeaks as it telescopes/tilts on startup. i'd have to test when adjusting with the knob but i'm sure it'd be the same since its the same mechanism doing the adjusting.

I have a 2013 LX with 135K that does the exact same thing. It's done it since the day I bought it with 65K
Not every time but about 40% of the time. I have not addressed it though. I always figured something needed to be lubricated but always to forget to mention it to my mechanic...
