I was thinking of stuff not covered there: "then you can do things like rag joints, intermediate shafts, etc. as I pointed out in my steering gear box thread from 2009, IIRC..." So far I'm not finding it. Hold on...update coming.

Yeah it took a half-dozen tries with different keywords. I'm exhausted. :)

So what’s the difference between these two 105 pitman arms.

45411-60191
45411-60360

And considering Toyota or WTOR don’t fit the shaft seal, even with a new box you will want this,

90311-36005 seal suited for 105

Cheers

Another question, which I think gets answered by Onur above.

105 is part time and 80 is full time 4wd. Any difference in the boxes due to this? I suppose if Toyota used the same box in non-USA spec 80’s that came part time from Toyota and that box is the same as a full time box which got superseded by the 105 box, well that answers the question doesn’t it.

Cheers

The 105 didn’t get the sector shaft upgrade until 2005 per Onur’s inputs. 60191 is a part number for the 80/105 box with the original sector shaft, so any 105 series prior to the upgrade.

60360 is for the upgraded box.
