@Funner what did you do to my beautiful rims?!? ;)

White was never an option for me and while I like color matched it is tough to find a color that is perfect unless it is white, black, or you to a custom paint too.

Love the rack. Virtually no noise and strong as an OX! I ordered it with all the bells and whistles including removable cross bars that I have used for mounting Yakima attachments but also plan to use for bracing top loads. Tim is a great guy to deal with and you will get a unique rack that is customized for you!

Thanks for the feedback! Did you do any of the gridwork add-on? I'm getting antsy to purchase this rack and pick it up when I head up to CO in 4 weeks. Planning on pairing it with a Gobi Ladder.

Thanks. I am liking the
Where to find these wheels and what they cost don't come with definitive answers... If you live out West, or South West, maybe the North East, they'll show up on Craigslist for dirt cheap - as Tundra take-offs. Here in the South East, Tundras got the other steel wheels (not a clue why), so they are pretty much nonexistent on Craigslist, etc. I bought a set of four (new) from an eBay seller - $35/per plus shipping. That seemed like a steel... I mean steal ;)

I rattle-canned the hubs and used black powder-coated lugs - bought them powder-coated.

Liking the gray. I picked up all 4 wheels off Craigslist for $100. I have one of my old forty rims and going to get them to match that or may go a little lighter. Thanks for all the input

@geanes I did the full grid. At the time when I ordered I felt that might put small things up there that would need the grid... now I am not so sure. The grid makes it damn near impossible to wash the roof and at least for me I think that the cross bars alone would have been fine.

@Manhattan remind me...do the steel Tundra wheels suck the tires in further than stock LC wheels? Back spacing is different? Did you use spacers?

Same specs as 100 wheels - backspacing, width, etc... well, except weight ;-)

My truck is at the tire shop right now getting 275/70/18 on tundra steelies I plastidipped gun metal grey. I will post some photos when I pick it up this afternoon.

I ruined my Michelins by wheeling them, the sidewall in one busted. Oh well, I've been wanting to get KO2's I just couldn't pull the trigger when my Michelins still had lots of tread.
