Our steel 4 blade radiator fan of the 62 FJ40 has cracks:

I think we are lucky it didn't break. We borrowed the fan of our 63 FJ45V. It is in good condition, we cleaned, painted and mounted it on the 40.

But... when we wanted to mount the radiator and shroud it didn't fit. This fan is bigger. 415 mm vs. 450 mm. Anyone ever noticed this difference? when did this change?

So, does anybody know about the sizes? And... who has a 415 mm spare for sale?

450 mm is 17 3/4"
415 mm is 16 3/8"

I have a fan that I'll sell. It's from a later truck and it's a little different than your original fan, but I believe it's 16-3/8".

Thanks spotcruiser. I forgot to update, but i already found one. Thanks anyway!

In the parts book is a normal and a hot spec fan. Would that be the larger one?

LOL I figured that out. But I previously thought the hot spec would have an other blade angle. But obviously it is just larger.
