So, Jerry's got me thinking about STR2011 so I wanted to announce the date officially, not just in the BOD section.

April 27-May 1 2011
SEE POST #60 for Updated Information and Requests

For those new members and those not involved last year, there is a section on our forum for Spring Tide Ride planning. There's a lot to be done for next year, and a lot needs to be done before Frisco Woods shuts down for the season 15DEC2010.

Need to be a club member to be part of the STR planning board and get access to the special forum for the discussions.

I am 95% sure I will not be making it, as our due date is 04MAY2011. So I'll start it, but won't be able to take part. Who knows, I may not even have the Events Coordinator job next year...

Get ready, the work is almost upon us...

As I told Heather last weekend.... you need to plan these things better and I have been trained to deliver a child.... OBX birth :grinpimp:

So have I, and all the bouncing and jarring up on the North end would probably induce labor! But the baby heads on the sticks scares me a little... :D

But the baby would be an official "hoi toider". You could slap a Hwy12 sticker right on it's head. :)

I know y'all are excited, but it won't be STR w/o ya'.

 R

For those of you who attended Spring Tide Ride 2010, a little birdie told me you may be interested in the January issue of Four Wheeler, due out sometime in November. ;)

That will be great! Maybe an update to our sponsors is in order depending upon the article/pictures?!

I'll help. Drink the  that is. Who knows, right in the middle of my Career (haha yeah right) Course. Might be able to talk them into letting me take a couple of days off. I think I need to pay my dues. I'm probably about 6 months late

That will cost you 43... I mean A 43..

The wife and I are prepared to step up and play as much a part as needed for coordinating with the camp grounds...however we do do not have the artistic talent for shirts sponsorship etc.

Just let us know how we can help.

november issue...

I didn't attend last year would like to this year.

I didn't see anything on the trip in Novembers four wheeler issue? Did I miss it?

What does being a sponsor require? What does a sponsorship cost? I would like to help in some way.

Who knows maybe the 40 will be back together! :)

You can't have the issue yet... it's Jan issue due out in Nov :whoops:

As far as sponsors last year it was mainly companies that donated raffle prizes or gave us discounts on food and things like that. I'm not sure who is in charge of the sponsorship committee I think it was Jon or Jerry last year.

Note the 2nd item under "On the trail" and the upper right-hand picture. :D

Issue is released on November 16th.

Too cool. Can't wait to see the mag.

i found it...

Looking forward to the issue!

Is spring tide ride a camping trip or do u rent a cabin?

You can do either. In the past, I've slept in my tent, but if the wife comes this year I'll probably have to rent a cabin.

thanks

To the STR vets: Where is a good place to rent a house or camp?

What kinds of activities do we do while out there?

thanks
