Spring Plates ??

Am I able to use the spring plates from a 70series (be it 70 73 75 etc..) and us it on a 60 series (be it 60 63 etc...) ?

and vice versa 60 to 70? are the shock pins in the same place, etc....

Can't answer your question about 70 series plates.

All 60 series plates are not the same but I think the u-bolt hole spacing is the same and that they are interchangeable. I'm using plates from an '81 on an '86, hence the interchangeability statement. I went with the '81 plates because they had additional reinforcement, and I just happened to have them on hand.

Both of my sets of '83 spring plates look the '86 spring plates that Godwin posted. Must have changed in '82 or something.
