Spring hangers year change?

Hi guys I have a 1984 bj42 and was wondering what changes were made to the hangers in the early 80's ? (I'm sure ther was a difference).

Asking as the oppertunity to buy either fj55 springs or fj60 springs has come up, and am wondering if the different hangers will make it easier or harder to swap the rear springs for either of these two.

Oh I'm in New Zealand so don't think I can buy these conversion bushes everyone talks about.

07/80 and earlier used a smaller diameter pin assembly, along with smaller bushings on the frame..

60 series spring ends/bushings will be the same as what you have.

Oh sweet I get it might take some pics of the process so everyone else can see what to do (or what not to do).
