Spring Choice in a 40 with a 4BT???? (1 Viewer)

Would like some input on Spring Choice with a 4BT, SUA perferred. Any builds notes would be helpful


1975 FJ40 P/S, Shackle Reversal, Frame-Up, 4BT/NV4500 etc....

Contact Alcan and have some made up. They'll request info such as weight at each corner and make them for your specs.

doesn't a 4bt require a minimum of 4" of lift to clear some things?

Still working on the build, got the frame blasted and treated...going to have to weigh each of the engines as I don't have the full build to weight...doing a frame off...looking to weigh them since I still have both the 4BT and 2F in the garage... I know the NV4500 will be 200lbs...so I just need the difference above stock and maybe at about 100lbs for winch, dual battery and extra metal front end...maybe a intercooler...but I think I will also add a tank in the rear...I came across a build with a 94 S10 Tank...looked good and more of a lower cost...
