Spring Break Tide Ride 2018 March 31-April 7th

Throwing this out there. It's not an official event but after last years low turnout and the fact we took our kids out of school for a week to hang out with cruiser heads we decided to just plan our annual trek to OBX during spring break.

Me, Andy, Steve and one of his friends and all our wives and kids have rented a house in Buxton for spring break. For those of you who don't know OBX it's basically Hatteras. I'm putting this thread out there in case others want to get together and maybe get another house or a camping spot in Frisco Woods which is just a mile down the road. If others come we would be interested in have a party at the house one night. We also plan on doing quit a bit of fishing depending on the weather.

Hey Marshall might try to at least come by and meet with you guys visit maybe camp a night and do some fishing.

We will be up in Corolla the same week. Would love to take a day and meet up for dinner or some social time. Or if you guys come up for horse spotting let me know and you can swing by the house for a beer or lunch or something. Will be happy to fire up the grill and hang out a bit.

I wish we could go but we will be in Florida visiting family and friends.

Yep, I don't blame you Marshall. After all the chatter to change the venue of STR back to Frisco Woods from the recently popular Northern Beach house, I feel bad that no one showed, even more so since I had to back out last minute. STR was one of the key rides that pulled our groups together, even though it had morphed from the original setup. The members in both the Carolina's have been flexible in accommodating this trip!

We need another Jocassee trip also!

I'd love to get back out to OBX for any iteration of a STR, and will look and see if I can at least get out there for the weekend!
