Out in Salida, CO for a vacation with friends....cool little historic town at 7k feet about 2 hours west of Colorado Springs. Population of about 5,800, so pretty small town overall. House is up on the mountainside which is 9 miles up a "county" dirt road at about 9200 feet. First block of walking downtown and spot a solid looking 80 in the alley...next block, I come up on a lifted GX, had lunch, hopped back in my friend's truck to just check out the town, and see 2 more 80's (1 40th), and a lifted Hi-Ace van...all in about 6 blocks and all parked out on the street. I'd love to see what's hiding away in this sleepy little town!

And my ride out...just my friend, wife, and myself...I could get used to this!

The trek to the house and a room with a view of Mt Shavano sitting at 14,220'....o_O

Wow. That's the way to do Colorado!

For sure! Unfortunately, I'll be on Southwest for the ride home though...

I wish I had my phone out yesterday....sitting out for lunch and a great looking Iron Pig rolled by. This tiny town has tons of fantastic vintage (and new) Toyotas running around!

More vintage Toyo goodness out here in CO...saw the Iron Pig rolling around again yesterday, glad to see that he's enjoying it regularly. That said, it's 40+ degrees and endless sunshine this week, so a perfect time to enjoy. Also saw 2 more 80's on the road and this lovely beast...

From what I've seen so far, winter is dirty out here with random lighter snowfall, but no rain to wash the scuz off of the streets. That said, all of the older vehicles out here of any model seem to be in pretty solid condition.

I know it is a little off topic but I can't resist...

LC wannabe. I was taking a walk in the marina area of Dubai and I saw this. And then more I looked at it the more I just scratched my head try to get it around why oh why would somebody first buy one of these things and then put inch and a half rubber on it.

I don't like aftermarket wheels unless they serve a purpose but vehicles like that you basically won't even notice since they ride so well

OK, whose is this 200?

(spotted on Fort Belvoir)

20K OBO ask for a 200 suggests one should take a closer look at a few things. It's also the only car on the lot with "as is" in the sale listing.

"Other than that no issues" GLWS

Bumped into this JDM right hand drive Delica with sweet sweet Virginia Surfer Girl plates at the Hoodbridge Ikea today… 🤤 I’m pretty sure she parked next to me for also being awesome. YOHG?

@TTViper why don’t you like Delicas?

I always liked at GX. It was built up nice.
This club gave me grief for having a GX, then for having a 4Runner, now for having a Land Cruiser. Pretty jacked up to be honest. Y’all should be nicer to @Diff Kraken . I’m always good to you guys. Just sayin. Don’t discriminate. My truck is dope.
I liked that GX. Was built up nice. I liked the 4 runner too but was disappointed in its mechanical problems.

I notice a distinct lack of mention of the 200. Lol.

Here’s a funky 100 I spotted in Osaka in December. “California” style according to the decal on the back and a Cali plate in the front window. Gave me a chuckle for a JDM truck in Japan going California- and on a cruiser no less! Nice blue though.

And not Cruisers but these were a couple favorites spotted driving around Toyota City...

Spotted this minty MR2 pulling out of the lot at Toyota HQ:

And this sweet little Suzuki Jimny Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) response car. Basically the Japanese AAA. I've noticed these JAF emblems on some grills stateside, and you can see a JAF sticker on the Delica I spotted above too. Kind of cool:
